Awareness360 is a free, independent knowledge platform helping every Indian understand their money, stay safe online, and know their rights. We publish plain-language guides — no jargon, no paywalls, no login required.
Why we exist
Financial literacy, digital safety, and civic rights are three areas where lack of knowledge costs ordinary Indians real money and real opportunities every year. UPI fraud alone costs Indians thousands of crores annually — yet most scams rely on a single information gap. We exist to close that gap, one guide at a time.
Most financial content in India is either too jargon-heavy for a first-time reader, or written primarily to sell a product. We write for the person who just wants a clear answer — a factory worker wondering if they need life insurance, a college student filing their first ITR, a parent trying to teach their child about UPI safety.
What we cover
Our content is organised across three pillars:
- Financial Literacy — UPI safety, mutual funds and SIPs, term insurance, ITR filing, banking basics, and credit scores.
- Digital Safety — digital arrest scams, UPI fraud, deepfakes, online privacy, and social media safety.
- Civic & Legal Rights — RTI applications, consumer complaints, tenant rights, and how to file an FIR.
Our editorial standards
Every guide is researched from primary sources — RBI circulars, SEBI guidelines, Government of India portals, IRDAI regulations, and official court rulings. Where we summarise complex rules, we link directly to the source document so you can verify. Our editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationships.
Where we link to affiliate partners, we mark them clearly as 'Recommended' with a full disclosure note. Advertising and affiliate revenue never influence what we write or which products we recommend. We do not publish paid editorial or sponsored articles.
Free, always
Awareness360 is and will always remain free to read. We are supported by Google AdSense advertising and, where relevant, clearly disclosed affiliate referrals. Our mission is to democratise access to financial and civic knowledge — charging for that access would defeat the purpose.
